Newfoundland and Labrador's overall university system performance is slightly above the Canadian average, and cost per student is relatively high. Across the three dimensions of performance, Newfoundland and Labrador's university system (there is only one university: Memorial University of Newfoundland) performs above the Canadian average on value to students, slightly above average on value to society and below average on access.
